A Life of Family, Service & Community
Thomas Frazier's connection to Stanton spans more than 50 years. It is the community where he and his family put down roots, built their lives, and called home.
As a former U.S. Marine and Vietnam Veteran, Thomas learned early the importance of service, responsibility, discipline, and commitment. After his military service, he carried those values into his professional life—building and operating a framing company before later continuing his career with Kaiser Permanente.
But Thomas's story is about more than his professional experience.
Thomas and his late wife, Marsha, shared more than fifty years of marriage and raised two daughters. Together, they built a family and a life rooted in the same community Thomas continues to call home today. Family, hard work, service to others, and personal responsibility have remained important parts of his life.
Decades of Experience in Stanton
Thomas's involvement in Stanton eventually led him to serve on the Stanton Planning Commission, where he has had the opportunity to consider issues involving development, land use, businesses, neighborhoods, and the future growth of the city.
His Planning Commission service extends back to at least 2018, and he has previously served as Chair of the Commission.
That experience has given Thomas the opportunity to listen to residents, hear from local businesses, review proposed projects, ask questions, and consider how decisions made today can affect Stanton neighborhoods for years to come.
Why Thomas Is Running
After more than five decades in Stanton, Thomas's decision to run for City Council is another chapter in his service to the community he calls home.
His approach to public service is reflected in three simple commitments already at the center of his campaign:

Residents deserve representatives who hear their concerns before making decisions.
Lead with Integrity.
Public officials should be accountable for their decisions and responsible with the trust placed in them.
Serve with Purpose.
Local government should remain focused on the practical issues that affect residents' everyday lives.
Thomas brings together the perspective of a Marine Veteran, husband and father, former business owner, longtime Stanton community member, and Planning Commissioner.
For Thomas, Stanton isn't simply a place on a map. It is where his family built its life, where he has spent decades as part of the community, and where he continues to serve today.
